Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a key Michelin innovation to enhance the tire value chain. Tires with RFID are scanned through manufacturing, inventory, delivery, maintenance and recycling services. Michelin is capable of tracking the full tire lifecycle.
This dataset contains only the standard and public article information as defined by ETRTO (European Tire and Rim Technical Organization), in collaboration with other tire manufacturers. Elements from this dataset can be linked to our more detailed tire article referential dataset.
